A composite material based on a silicone resin, filled with a filler, or reinforced with fibers (or its fabric). Organosilicon resins are usually formed by the hydrolysis and condensation of organochlorosilanes, and have active groups on the molecules. They are thermosetting resins due to further curing. There are four main forms of composite materials.
(1) Organic silicon glass varnished cloth, which is obtained by impregnating glass cloth with silicone resin and drying. It is mainly used as a bandaging insulation or a thermal insulation material for electrical appliances.
(2) Silicone laminated plastic, which is laminated with glass cloth impregnated with silicone resin and made into a product by high pressure molding, low pressure molding, or vacuum bag molding. It can be used for a long time at 250 ℃, and the short-term use temperature can be as high as 300 ℃. Mainly used as slot wedge insulation for H-class motors, high-temperature relay housings, radar radomes for high-speed aircraft, and printed circuit boards.
(3) Silicone mica products, depending on the type of silicone insulation resin used and the structure of mica, a variety of hard or soft products can be obtained, such as mica foil, mica tape, mica board, etc., mainly used as H-class electrical appliances Insulation Materials.
(4) Silicone film compression plastic, which uses silicone resin as the base material, and adds fillers such as quartz powder and white carbon, and is rolled and crushed to make a molding material. It has good fluidity at 150 ° C and can be quickly cured. Asbestos-filled silicone film pressed products can work at 250 ℃ for a long time, and the instantaneous working temperature can be as high as 650 ℃. It has been widely used in the fields of aviation, aerospace and electronic and electrical industries.
